IKEA drops new homewares range
IKEA Australia has delighted shoppers with a stunning new range of homewares items for 2021 – including high-end candles costing just a fraction of the price.
The furniture giant has teamed up with Ben Gorham, the founder of luxury fashion house and candlemaker Byredo, in a collaboration like no other to unveil 13 new candle scents, with unique colour glaze stoneware pots with lids.
Each scent from the OSYNLIG series has been created and composed like a perfume with a base note, a heart note and a top note.
Once the candles, which cost from $9.99 to $49.99, burn down, the pot doubles as a holder for office stationery or for displaying flowers on your desk.
The high-end candles usually cost between $62 and $110.
However shoppers will need to be quick as stock is very limited.

In addition to the candle range, the retailer has launched a new collection of furniture pieces, flat-packs and modern home décor.
From laptop stands to cabinets and vases, the latest arrivals are said to be a ‘tribute’ to a season that will start to slowly cool down.
Lighter, fresher colour palette and the closeness to nature will dominate the range, with ‘elegant simplicity’ as the golden theme throughout.
Clean lines and uncomplicated forms allow functions or materials, and often both, to be in focus along with natural fibres like birch, bamboo and rattan.
The new INBJUDEN collection has everything you need to plan, decorate and enjoy your special occasion – including tableware and cutlery, glassware and serveware, table decorations, cushions, artificial flowers, and hanging decorations.
Among the range is the $89 FÖRNUFTIG air purifier, which helps to create healthier air by filtering away gases and particles. These can be pollutants, chemicals, pollen, dust and odours.
