Hello, friends and beauty lovers! It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year: The Sephora Beauty Insider sale is just around the corner. Yes, the brand’s annual spring sale is back, and Beauty Insider members get to take advantage of site-wide discounts from April 1 through April 11.
While it’s still only March, everyone and their mother on TikTok is prepping for the sale. Seriously — so many TikTok users have taken to stocking up their cart before the sale so they have easy access to the deals. Think of it like a wishlist or a shopping basket that you carry around digitally with you for approximately 10 more days. And at this point, everyone knows that a beauty rec from TikTok is usually super solid.
But before we jump into that…
When is the Sephora sale?
As mentioned above, the 2022 Sephora Beauty Insider Sale is happening from April 1 through April 11. Anyone who signs up (it’s free!) to be a Sephora Beauty Insider can get in on the discounts. Depending on your Beauty Insider status, there are different deals for different tiers. Get your carts ready because here’s the breakdown:
ROUGE: Members of the highest Beauty Insider tier can get first access to the sale and 20% off their purchase starting on April 1.
VIB: Members of the middle tier can start shopping the sale on April 5 with a sweet 15% discount on their bag.
INSIDER: The lowest beginner tier gets access to the Sephora Sale on April 7 with a total of 10% off.
While that’s just the price breakdown across membership tiers, all Beauty Insider members can also take 30% off Sephora Collection products.
What should I buy from the Sephora sale?
So glad you asked! We all need to take after these TikTok influencers and start prepping our carts. There’s nothing worse than trying to buy your favorite moisturizer for 20% off and finding it’s sold out.
After searching high and wide through TikTok, I gathered up the items that beauty influencers are planning to buy from the Sephora Beauty Insider Sale. Ready to peruse and plan your purchases? Scroll down to shop ’em all.
Look, not all celebrity makeup and skin care brands hit it out of the park (in fact, most of them don’t!). But Selena Gomez knew what she was doing with Rare Beauty. This long-lasting liquid blush blends and builds beautifully for a soft, healthy flush.
Pro tip: Most TikTok users have the shade “Happy” on their wishlists, followed by “Joy.”
Arguably one of the most coveted sunscreens since Supergoop! first blew up, Glow Recipe’s physical and mineral hybrid formula is sure to sell out quickly. Read more about why TikTok is obsessed with it over here.
No, it’s not a foundation or a concealer, but a complexion booster that basically enhances your regular makeup — and in a range of shades. You can use it alone, underneath foundation, mixed with foundation or on top of foundation as a highlighter. Check out these videos by TikTok users @rancobeauty and @alirosegray to see why people are snatching it up.
Not ready to commit? If you want to test it out first, it also comes in a sweet mini size for $15.
(P.S. I also have this in my cart ready to go as soon as April 1 hits!)
Just mix these self-tanning drops into your regular face and body moisturizer, and then you’re good to go! Because of the formula, you won’t be left with any random streaks or dark spots.
5. Topicals Duo for Dry, Sensitive Skin and Discoloration, $60 ($68 value)
OK, so I saw both the Topicals Like Butter mask and the Topicals Faded gel pop up separately on various TikToks, but why not sneak in a 2-for-1 deal?
The Topicals Faded serum helps address dark spots and hyperpigmentation, texture and more with star ingredients niacinamide, tranexamic acid, licorice root and kojic acid. Meanwhile, the Topicals Like Butter mask soothes and calms dry, sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
I also just want to give a separate shoutout to the packaging because it’s just, ugh, perfect.
6. Gisou Honey-Infused Hair Oil, $46
Thanks to the sustainably sourced Mirsalehi honey, Gisou’s hair oil nourishes, moisturizes, softens and smooths every hair type. Just go check out the #gisouhairoil on TikTok and see for yourself.
I’m sorry, friends, but I have absolutely zero idea when (or if) the Dior Lip Oil will ever be restocked. However, a ton of TikTokers claim that the Tower 28 lip gloss is not only an affordable alternative, but it’s actually so much better than the Dior one.
You know a moisturizer is good when it comes in airless, pump packaging — no germs allowed! — and every TikTok-famous dermatologist has recommended it. Check out this breakdown from @dermdoctor about why the Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream is the best.
To know Olaplex No. 3 is to love Olaplex No. 3. Live your best Olaplex bun life by grabbing the highly concentrated superhero hair treatment on sale. A bit of advice from me as a ride-or-die Olaplex girly: A little goes a long way.
The Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream has been on everyone’s Sephora wishlist since it first launched. Just get it, and thank me and all of the TikTok beauty influencers later.
BONUS: The Dyson Airwrap Complete Styler, $549
Look, I’m not saying that the highly coveted, all-around miracle product that is the Dyson Airwrap will be in stock by the time the Sephora sale starts. I’m also not not saying that, so hold out hope and keep checking that page!
