Sephora’s VIB Spring Sale 2022 Gives Customers 20% Off Almost Everything — Here’s What You Need to Know

That’s not all you have to look forward to. All Sephora Collection products are 30 percent off between April 1 through April 11 for all Beauty Insiders — no code required. Though the tiered savings can’t be stacked (as in, you can’t combine them to get a super-steep discount on Sephora Collection products), the offer may be used in the same transaction with non-SC products throughout the Spring Savings Event sale.

Hang tight, because there are a few more important details and exceptions to keep in mind. Each customer can redeem their discount as many times as they’d like during their allotted tier-level time period, so you can spread out your shopping and buy whatever catches your eye as you browse Sephora’s vast inventory. There’s no minimum purchase needed, either.

However, for U.S. and Canada-based customers, The Ordinary and MAC Viva Glam products are excluded from the discount. Also, there’s a limit of one Dyson item, five Morphe products, and three Tarte Shape Tape Concealers allowed per transaction. As always, you can’t combine this offer with any others.

Now that we’ve got all of the basics down, here are some of our favorite picks that we’ll be eyeing during the sale:

We’re officially in spring mode, so tweak your skin-care routine to address all the skin concerns you may have during this transitional (and temperamental, in terms of weather) season. Considering that you can tackle everything from dryness to hyperpigmentation with the help of new and classic products, this sale couldn’t come any sooner. Whether it’s trying out an exfoliating toner that’ll deep-clean your pores or testing an Allure Readers’ Choice-winning cleanser, Sephora’s got you covered.

As its name suggests, Tatcha’s The Dewy Skin Cream will create a plump, glowing complexion through a fusion of skin-enhancing ingredients like hydrating hyaluronic acid and free-radical-fighting antioxidants derived from algae. If your skin tends to turn red easily, or if you have rosacea, the green-tinted Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment is known for its color-correcting abilities, thanks to its star ingredient, cica.

If hyperpigmentation is your skin-care concern of the moment, you can treat discoloration with Topicals‘ Faded Serum, which contains tranexamic acid to even your skin tone. To address the appearance of fine lines and crow’s feet, Peace Out’s nourishing Retinol Eye Stick smooths skin while brightening dark circles.

Dull, uneven skin will love all the benefits that Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner has to offer, considering that it contains exfoliating polyhydroxy and beta hydroxy acids, as well as hydrating hyaluronic acid. For consistently radiant skin, wash your face daily with the Youth to the People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser, an Allure Readers’ Choice winner that’s infused with brightening vitamin C.

Many of us are now back to our offices and IRL workplace situations, so it’s time to show off all of the makeup skills you learned while working from home. But if there’s one thing the pandemic taught us, it’s to chill — well, at least with our beauty routines. The “no makeup”-makeup trend had undergone a major revival, and the minimalist trend seems to be staying for spring. Expect to see more lightweight foundations and creamy, multipurpose blushes in stores, and possibly in your own stash.

Nail your next Euphoria-inspired eye look with Natasha Denona‘s Pastel Eye Shadow Palette, a 15-pan palette filled with dreamy frosted shimmers and matte shades. The Allure Readers’ Choice-nominated Soft Pink Liquid Blush from Rare Beauty comes in 10 satin- and matte-finish hues to create a subtle flush that defines your cheekbones.

Ilia’s Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation hits the nail on the head when it comes to lightweight coverage, plus it treats your complexion with hydrating hyaluronic acid. Speaking of lightweight color, Dior’s Addict Lip Glow accumulated an enormous fan base for its conditioning shea butter formula and subtle tint that’ll make any pout look (and feel) plush and moisturized.

Chisel your cheekbones, jawline, and nose with one of Fenty Beauty’s Match Stix Matte Contour Skinsticks, which come in seven colors. You can swipe on the Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer to brighten and conceal while nourishing your skin with moisture-retaining hyaluronic acid, anti-inflammatory caffeine, and firming peptides.

Sephora’s got just about every hair elixir, mask, and tonic you’re looking for, no matter if you’re trying to address frizz, scalp concerns, or anything in-between. Yes, you can always restock on tried-and-true favorites, but why not experiment with something new? Sephora’s fully stocked with new and exciting products like currently-trending bond repair masks and, of course, the Dyson Airwrap (which will probably sell out very quickly).

Bond-repairing hair products have grown a large beauty fanbase for their ability to repair disulfide bonds — In layman’s terms, that means these products help with hair damage from bleaching, coloring, and using heated hair tools. The Olaplex No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector is one of the most popular bond-repairing hair treatments for its intensive formula that enhances color, shine, and strength. K18’s Biomimetic Hairscience Leave-in Molecular Repair Hair Mask is another trending choice that, like Olaplex, utilizes amino acid chains to repair your hair’s disulfide bonds, making hair smoother and less breakable.

If washing your hair isn’t on the agenda today, spritz some of Living Proof’s Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo, a lightweight refresher that’ll absorb oil and sweat without leaving any residue behind. For ends that are feeling a bit thirsty, massage in the Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil to moisturize your hair while enhancing shine.

The Verb Ghost Weightless Hair Oil is another moisture-replenishing hair oil that’ll treat frizz, flyaways, and brittleness with the help of lightweight argan oil. Amika’s The Wizard Detangling Hair Primer, meanwhile, is a multitasking dream product that detangles, moisturizes, and protects hair from temperatures of up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Here’s a shopping hack: Some of the most expensive items in Sephora are fragrances, so use your discount wisely and grab a new luxury perfume at a lower price. Though they can still be a bit pricey post-discount, many of them never go on sale, so this may be one of the few chances to nab them for a lot less.

Chanel fragrance fans, here’s good news. During this sale, you can grab any of the luxury brand’s perfume options, including the fruity-floral Eau Tendre Eau de Toilette, for up to 20 percent off. You can also grab Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum, an intoxicatingly warm and spicy scent that’s won Allure Best of Beauty and Readers’ Choice Awards.

Sol De Janeiro

Brazilian Crush Cheirosa ’62 Bum Bum Hair & Body Fragrance Mist

Fans of warm and sweet scents will love the blend of white flowers, black coffee, and vanilla that make up Yves Saint Laurent’s iconic Black Opium Eau de Parfum, another Allure Best of Beauty winner. Meanwhile, body mist lovers should add the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa ’62 Bum Bum Hair & Body Fragrance Mist, a warm and spicy mix of salted caramel, pistachio, and vanilla, to their collections.

Gucci’s Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum is a fruity-floral scent — with notes of pear, gardenia, and brown sugar — that’ll be a refreshing addition to your spring fragrance wardrobe. If you’d like to stick to tried-and-true favorites, you can never go wrong with Marc Jacobs’s Perfect Eau de Parfum, a warm floral scent that’ll invigorate your olfactory senses with a burst of rhubarb and daffodil that dries down to a subtly sensual mix of cedarwood and cashmere.
