the heart-throb’s most fashionable looks

Harry Styles, as his surname suggests, has racked up quite the collection of sartorial credentials.

The multi-hyphenate, who turns 27 today, has hopped from being one-fifth of the British boy band One Direction to solo star to actor, all while maintaining his inimitable style.

Since leaving his boy band days behind in 2017, the Mancunian has developed his own personal look, regularly showing off bold choices that are flamboyant, fashion-forward, and fun.

Indeed, his fearless wardrobe (remember that sensational American Vogue cover?) has now become as renowned as his catchy songs. For the video of his hotly-anticipated fifth single Golden from his second album, Styles threw his weight behind University of Westminster graduate Steven Stokey-Daley by sporting the student’s ‘Sebastian’ trousers, which caused them to sell out instantaneously.

A 5-year-old boy was knocked unconscious at an Australian shopping centre by a man fleeing a store after stealing a phone.

New South Wales police confirmed a 30-year-old man had been trying to buy a mobile phone at Lidcombe Shopping Centre in Sydney’s west on Sunday afternoon.

“When the store attendant was unable to process the purchase due to the transaction being declined, the man ran from the store with the phone,” a spokesperson said.

Footage of the incident, obtained by 9 News, shows the man running from a Vodafone store and colliding with the young boy, knocking him out.

Other customers and Vodafone employee Jonathan Lee chased after the man and were able to hold him until police arrived.

“[I] tackled him down there and a few passers-by were helpful enough to help me grab him down,” Lee

Givenchy creative director, Matthew Williams let the likes of Kendall Jenner and Playboi Carti style themselves for their spring campaign.

Creative Director, Matthew Williams, allowed the models to have the freedom to express themselves through the fashion house’s spring collection.

He told WWD.com: “My ethos is about the luxury of infusing clothes with your own personality, not being worn by them. In each of these portraits, a strong character wears a look that reflects who they are: They’re the ones who bring the clothes to life.”

Kendall opted for a second-skin red top and high-waisted trousers, teamed with a gold Antigona bag, while rapper Playboi opted for a mesh tank top and a leather bomber.

The stunning campaign was shot by photographer Heji Shin.

China makeup ad pulled for ‘victim-blaming’ | China News

Advertisement for cosmetics wipes linking a woman’s appearance to the likelihood of assault is taken down.

A Chinese advertisement for makeup wipes that linked a woman’s appearance to the likelihood of assault has been taken down and the company forced to apologise after a backlash over “victim-blaming”.

The advertisement, released last week by Chinese cotton products manufacturer Purcotton, showed a woman walking home at night followed by a male stalker.

As he gains on her, she hurriedly removes her makeup using the wipes. As the assailant grabs her from behind, the woman turns to show him her now makeup-free face, scaring off the would-be attacker with her natural complexion.

The advertisement was widely panned on Chinese social media as users on the Twitter-like service Weibo complained it made light of a serious issue and vowed to boycott the brand’s products.

“Isn’t this simply insulting the female sex? Making an advert
